ABOUT MSSFN
The 1st Middle-eastern Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery Conference is the founding activity of the proposed "Middle Eastern Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery" (MSSFN).
The Middle Eastern Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery (MSFNS) was initiated in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) on April 2015 by a founding group of senior neurosurgeons in the field of stereotactic and functional neurosurgery from the Middle East. The first assembly was held in Dubai on January 16th, 2016.
MISSION
Developing functional neurosurgical care for the benefit of patients and medical providers.
VISION
To help to maintain a world-class standard of scientific knowledge, expertise, education, and training in the field of stereotactic and functional neurosurgery.
VALUES
1) To promote and support the progress of stereotactic and functional neurosurgery knowledge and care through regular advanced training courses and workshops targeting functional neurosurgeons and trainees.
2) To supervise and support high ethical standards in the practice of stereotactic and functional neurosurgery.
3) To establish positive communications between society members and Centers and with other functional neurosurgery related regional and international scientific and academic societies.
